Quick-fix pasta is always a bonus right?? This is one of the easiest pasta dishes you can make! With so few ingredients, and most you have on hand all the time, it makes it a staple that can be made up quickly and everyone will enjoy!
This is my Go-To meal when I don’t have a lot of time, and I need something everyone will eat and love! It is SO simple to make, and tastes amazing.
Pasta with Sausage and Peppers
1 lb. Kielbasa
½ Red pepper sliced
½ yellow pepper sliced
1box bow tie pasta
2 TB butter
1 Tb. Olive oil
¼ cup Lemon juice
¼ cup or more pasta water Salt and pepper to taste
Begin by cooking kielbasa over medium heat until slightly caramelized. Remove sausage and add peppers to pan. Once peppers have cooked down some, add sausage back in.
In separate large pot boil enough water to cook 12 oz box of pasta.
Salt water and add pasta.
While pasta is cooking, melt butter in sautee pan, add olive oil, lemon juice, pasta water salt and pepper.
Drain water, add meat, peppers and sauce to the pasta. Enjoy!!
